For one of our clients, we are currently seeking a Senior Laravel Developer to join our team.

Our client is a growing ICT business located in the Netherlands and is well-known in the region for delivering pragmatic and targeted custom web solutions and IT management in the fields of ICT management, Cloud & Telecom, Software, and Consultancy. Their main goal is to provide other businesses with any ICT-related services they might need, making them their go-to partner for any ICT-related problems they face.

About the role

You will be part of the software development team that is currently working on creating custom software for clients. These projects can range from a small tool to automatically import transactions from a payment provider into their accounting software to fully fledged CRM applications.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Laravel, demonstrating deep expertise in the framework
  • Professional experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, Bootstrap / CSS and jQuery / JavaScript
  • Experienced in working with MVC Frameworks

Considered as a plus

  • Experience with Git (VCS)

Education

A bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) in Informatics and computer engineering or similar is considered a plus.

Foreign languages

You will also work directly with our client, so fluent English is required.

About the role  

As a Lead Developer with strong AWS and backend development expertise, you will join their team and play a key role in driving the architecture and technical direction of critical projects.

You will be up to:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective backend systems using AWS-native architecture principles
  • Develop robust, modular, and testable code in Node.js and TypeScript
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code practices using AWS CDK (preferably in TypeScript)
  • Facilitate architectural and design discussions, helping resolve technical uncertainty with confidence
  • Implement and maintain automated unit and integration tests (e.g., using Jest)
  • Review code, provide constructive feedback, and uphold high engineering standards
  • Clearly communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and priorities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Set technical direction and coach developers toward best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS managed services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, EventBridge)
  • Proven ability to design systems aligned with AWS-native best practices – prioritizing scalability, reliability, and cost-awareness
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially AWS CDK in TypeScript
  • Advanced programming skills in Node.js and TypeScript, with strong knowledge of backend development patterns
  • Comfortable working in and maintaining modular, testable codebases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest or similar)

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for an Experienced Full-stack developer to join the team.  

The client  

Risklick is a spin-off from the University of Bern, Switzerland, that is revolutionizing the development of clinical trial protocols using artificial intelligence. The company is developing the first of its kind, AI-based clinical trial protocol tool (co-pilot trial protocol) that enables experts to generate high-quality protocols in a short time. Risklick currently provides customer-centric solutions to several international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), other national regulatory agencies, and pharmaceutical companies. We are shaping the future of clinical trial protocols with the aim of bringing new medications to patients faster and at a lower cost.   

About the role and you  

As a Full-stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality user-facing features within our web applications. You will work closely with the head of the front-end development team and collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and databases. On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with our project manager, to plan and develop custom reusable components, share ideas, troubleshoot, and fix bugs when required.   

You will be working at Risklick from Skopje’s office, together with experienced developers from abroad.  

Expertise and skills  

  • 3 years of experience with Next.js
  • 5 years of experience with React.js
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), CSS, and HTML5  
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and user experience  
  • Solid experience with PostgreSQL

Education  

Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) of Informatics and computer engineering or similar is considered as a plus.  

Foreign languages

Fluent English is required, B2 / C1 preferred.
