For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join the team.

Founded in 2000, our client initially focused on e-commerce integration and IT-driven change projects within supply chain and logistics environments. With the advent of UHF RFID technology and the launch of EPC Global in 2003, they embraced these advancements to enhance the accurate and timely flow of information through open, standards-based supply chains. They evolved into a hands-on AutoID integrator, combining deep expertise in business processes and IT systems with extensive technical knowledge of AutoID, RFID, and locating technologies. About the role
As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, driving technical excellence, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will:
You will be up to:
- Design and implement reliable, scalable backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS-native architecture
- Apply Infrastructure as Code practices using AWS CDK (TypeScript preferred)
- Write robust, modular, and testable code, including automated tests with frameworks like Jest
- Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to peers
- Participate in architectural discussions and help solve complex technical challenges
- Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with AWS managed services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, EventBridge)
- Proven ability to design scalable, cost-effective, and reliable systems following AWS best practices
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially AWS CDK
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
- Ability to work with modular, maintainable, and testable codebases
Education
A bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Informatics and computer engineering or similar is considered a plus.
Foreign languages
You will also work directly with our client; fluent English is required.
